Panel Photovoltaics vs SUNTCO Liquid Solar Paint and Coatings

Annually approximately 90 petawatts (a petawatt is equal to one quadrillion watts) of sunlight reaches the Earth’s surface. This is almost 6,000 times more than the 15 terawatts (the terawatt is equal to one trillion watts) of average electrical power consumed by humans, globally. Additionally, solar electric generation has the highest power density among renewable energies. One can easily come to the conclusion that sunlight/light, of which we can and should take full advantage, is a naturally provided commodity unlike other exhaustible resources. Solar alternative-sciences and quantum leaps in technology of renewable energy will bring about abundant positive changes to our world.

The building blocks of PV technology are small solar cells, generally made from crystalline silicon, that produce electricity when they’re hit by sunlight. Since individual cells generate a tiny amount of power, they are usually grouped into solar modules two-to-four feet wide and four-to-six feet long to produce more current.

Unlike fossil fuel based technologies, solar power does not lead to any harmful emissions during operation, but the production of solar panels leads to some amount of pollution. This is often referred to as the energy input to output ratio. In some analysis, if the energy input to produce it is higher than the output it produces it can be considered environmentally more harmful than beneficial. SUNTCO has incorporated liquid lipid diodes into its electron-gathering design which negates the necessity of using modules to produce current.

SUNTCO’s Photovoltaic Liquid Application

Painting a building, for instance with SUNTCO Liquid Solar Paint and Coatings, which is managed through liquid diodes that collectively generate electricity when hit by light (not only sunlight), will lessen the need for unsightly solar modules seen perched atop a roof or grounded in the earth. SUNTCO will change the module concept to the production of applied liquid photovoltaics as spreads and coatings.

One example of our delivered liquid electricity will be to developing countries where many villages are often more than five kilometers away from grid power. The ease of use and affordability provides them a way to become more self-sufficient with Liquid Solar Paint and Coatings applied to their structures. In remote locations in India a rural lighting program has been providing solar powered LED lighting to replace kerosene lamps. The solar powered lamps were sold at the cost of a few months supply of kerosene. Here, again, a liquid power application can transform lives for many years to come through a new “truly” affordable means.

SUNTCO’s Liquid Solar Paint and Coatings will be applied to the sides of buildings, roofs and any applicable surfaces as a paint or coating by licensed contractors who have had application training by skilled SUNTCO specialists. This assurance is part of a total quality commitment by the firm and all of its distributors.

In January SUNTCO took part in the World Future Energy Summit 2010 in Abu Dhabi by exhibiting its Solar Liquid Power as an advanced renewable energy solution. More than 23,000 delegates from 130 countries in Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa, Australasia and the Middle East attended the event. SUNTCO’s future is to be involved with the many world leaders who also want to improve our world, health and environment.
For over 100 years the world has invested in technologies that are based on the supply of oil. Engines and motors, heating systems, power generation and delivery systems are only a few of the technologies that have been woven into every aspect of the fabric of our economies and lives. To move away from fossil fuels means changing the habits of generations, and being willing to jettison the investment and development of decades; continued the editorial. “But oil will run out in the foreseeable future”, Gulf News reminded. Moreover, oil and coal together form a substantial part of the carbon dioxide problem the paper noted.
“It is now accepted that the world cannot afford to continue to recklessly burn its fossil fuels. Firstly, they are not being replaced and they will run out. Secondly, a huge build-up of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is continuing, which is imperilling the future of the planet by raising the temperature beyond what will be safe for our existing life forms.”
This is why January’s World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi was so important. The vast gathering brought together all the stakeholders in the very complicated business of preparing for change in how we find energy. These included government leaders with the responsibility of changing legislation and trying to lead public opinion, scientists with the duty to explain what might be possible, and private sector companies with the responsibility of turning the scientists’ ideas into reality, noted the paper.
“For the human race to continue, and the Earth to have a stable long-term future, we need sustainable energy sources that cannot be depleted and will continue to match our economic and social expectations for centuries ahead”, it said.
In his keynote speech, Sultan Al Jaber, CEO of Masdar, said the high-profile presence of this 3rd World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi is a testament to the Summits ongoing success and the continued global importance renewable energy and energy efficiency in mitigating climate change.
Icelandic President O.R. Grimsson, who was in Abu Dhabi to participate at the WFES, has said that he was leaving the city and the conference with commitment to turn inspiration into implementation. Expressing satisfaction over the results of the first summit, the Icelandic President expressed, “The time for lengthy debates and dialogue is over. Now it is action that must bring us together and that is the mission of Masdar, the World Future Energy Summit and Abu Dhabi.”
Mr. Grimsson said that green energy era brings a lot of opportunities for the developing world due to huge potential of geo-thermal and solar energy. The nations with abundance of renewable energy sources would have strategic advantage after the implementation of carbon tax.
Terming environmental crisis as one of the biggest challenges of the century, H.S.H. Prince Albert Louis Pierre, Sovereign Prince of Monaco, said at the closing ceremony of the summit, “We cannot go on with 20 percent of the world’s population using 80 percent of the world’s resources.”
Meanwhile, the WFES 2010 came to an end amid the esteemed presence of HH General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Price of Abu Dhabi and other dignitaries with the hopes that the fourth edition of the World Future Energy Summit 2011 will witness huge progress for making optimum use of renewable energy. Abu Dhabi’s World Future Energy Summit has become the largest annual gathering of those who need to work together to build a sustainable energy supply. The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) was officially established in Bonn on 26 January 2009. As of today, 141 states and the European Union signed the Statute of the Agency; amongst them are 47 African, 37 European, 33 Asian, 15 American and 9 Australia/Oceania States. IRENA is the world’s first inter-governmental agency fully dedicated to renewable energy and other significant efforts. SUNTCO will actively participate and support the effort to advance solar sciences.

Wind, Water and Sunlight…It seems so simple that these natural and abundantly available natural elements are the engines that drive and will drive a sustainable direction for our energy needs. While there are other options, like coal with carbon arrest, ethanol, natural gas, oil and nuclear power, they remain the most costly and poorest power solutions to build, control costs and maintain. Wind, Water and Sunlight are the cleanest and most cost effective means to solving more than just power issues. So what does the future hold in these three areas? First, while there has been progress in these areas there is still a long way to go before these big three become our most natural providers. Vision and technology must drive these existing natural and sustainable resources. Science and Engineering need to break down walls and form new hybrid sciences that fully address the potentials within each area. Secondly, we desperately need more concentrated Wind, Water and Sunlight education on a worldwide scale in order to advance visions and technologies into physically engineering totally cost effective solutions, not just construct massive and expensive production structures and architectures. Most of these are simply not needed to supply the power. Finally, we need to understand this is a global issue and must consider the responsibilities to ourselves and other countries as they must consider us, not only in collaborating significant breakthroughs but to also provide the formation of new jobs, dedicated to clean energies. SUNTCO is fully committed to this path not only in societal responsibility but in advancing hybrid sciences to their limit, to achieve the best we can in sustainable energy while eliminating pollution and its deep effects. We are focused solely on solar as a complete science, not merely as a product idea platform, but as a total immersion in this area. We aspire to achieve the most advanced cost effective science and engineering solutions in solar power for the people needs of our globe. Our first entrant to present in 2010 will be our solar liquid paint and coatings for commercial use, followed by our solar diaphanous sheers and clean solar fluids. Welcome to the world of advanced solar sciences. Welcome to SUNTCO.

As part of SUNTCO’s commitment to public information we are pleased to announce that McKinsey Quarterly, the widely-published business journal, has recently published an enlightening comment by our Chief Science Officer, Dr Doug Linman: “We, the U.S., need to consider establishing new, savvy technology directions, not only to support our power needs, our lives and our children’ lives, but to foster new and long-term education and employment opportunities. We need to support an environmentally responsible renewable and Green technology revolution and evolution with the best of our best, globally. It would seem that we now have yet another opportunity to wisely and technologically advance, as we did during the “Space Race” in 1961. A clear acknowledgement that these advancements, which will positively affect all of Earth’s life now and far into the future, are necessary to achieve. SUNTCO’s renewable energy contribution will be high-efficient and low-cost solar power in a liquid form (paint and coating) that will be easily and quickly deployable. We look forward to working on solutions all over the world, while advancing education in these sciences (because more scientists and engineers are needed) and together energizing countries back to work, back to basics, back to education, back to wonderful pursuits and to living healthy.”

On August 10, 2009 SUNTCO’s solar liquid paint sample was independently studied using a high end AFM (Atomic Force Microscope).

Images were taken at two molecular sample locations to show consistency of the technique and the quality of the film. Using AFM, we were able to distinguish between the conducting and non-conducting regions on the sample surface supporting the work. The tests were completely successful!

I/V (inward current/voltage) spectroscopy measurements were also observed on the conducting and non-conducting regions. The conducting regions show linear characteristics in I/V curves while the non-conducting regions displayed no observable response in the voltage range tested, as expected for a rough coat.

This test, while significant, represents approximately 30% of the ongoing analytics menu required to establish full characterization for upcoming field trial tests.
